6.5 Creedmoor 123 Grain Hornady SST~Ā TheĀ 6.5mm Creedmoor,Ā is aĀ centerfireĀ rifleĀ cartridgeĀ introducedĀ in 2007Ā as a modification of theĀ .30 TC,Ā which was based on theĀ .308 Winchester. It was designed specifically forĀ long-range target shooting,Ā although it is also achieving success inĀ gameĀ hunting.Ā Bullet for bullet, the 6.5mm Creedmoor achieves a slowerĀ muzzle velocityĀ than longer cartridges such as theĀ 6.5-284 NormaĀ orĀ magnum cartridgesĀ such as theĀ 6.5mm Remington Magnum.
