6.5 Creedmoor 130 Grain Barnes TSX~ The 6.5mm Creedmoor, is a centerfire rifle cartridge introduced in 2007 as a modification of the .30 TC, which was based on the .308 Winchester. It was designed specifically for long-range target shooting, although it is also achieving success in game hunting. Bullet for bullet, the 6.5mm Creedmoor achieves a slower muzzle velocity than longer cartridges such as the 6.5-284 Norma or magnum cartridges such as the 6.5mm Remington Magnum. However, due to its 2.825 inches (71.8 mm) overall length, it is capable of being chambered in short-action bolt-action rifles and AR-10 semi-automatic rifles.
Long-range shooter Ray “RayDog” Sanchez summarized the bolt-action Tubb 2000 rifle in 6.5mm Creedmoor as “boringly accurate” at 1,000 yards (910 m). He asserted the rifle and ammunition combination he used was able to maintain sub-MOA groups at 1000 yards.

Barnes’ most popular hunting bullet, the TSX™ Triple Shock® X-Bullet utilizes all-copper construction and innovative design to give you one of the deadliest, most dependable bullets you can buy. More than 20 years of copper bullet experience go into the TSX, delivering a bullet that gives you lower fouling, better accuracy, greater velocity and lower pressure. The TSX’s all copper construction delivers a lighter bullet than comparable lead core bullets, delivering higher velocities, flatter trajectories, and less recoil. This construction also delivers nearly 100% weight retention and produces surer, deeper penetration with its specially engineered nose cavity that peels back into four sharp-edged petals that cut through game. This specially designed nose cavity expands to double the bullet’s diameter almost immediately after impact at both high and low velocities, giving you a bullet that is as deadly on longer shots as it is at point blank range. The Triple-Shock X also features multiple precisely engineered rings cut into the bullet shank that serve as relief valves as the bullet travels down the bore. These rings give the bullet’s copper material a place to expand into under pressure, resulting in reduced pressures, less copper fouling, and better barrel harmonics for improved accuracy. Recommended by big game guides around the world. Made in USA.
