Description
6MM Creedmoor 95 Grain VLD-H- TheĀ 6mm CreedmoorĀ is aĀ necked-down version of the 6.5mm Creedmoor using 6 mm (.243 inch) bullets, lighter than 6.5 mm bullets with similarly-reduced recoil.Ā TheĀ 6.5mm CreedmoorĀ (6.5Ć48 mm)Ā designatedĀ 6.5 CreedmoorĀ byĀ SAAMI,Ā 6.5 CreedmoorĀ is aĀ centerfireĀ rifleĀ cartridgeĀ developed for Creedmoor Sports and introduced byĀ Hornady in 2007.Ā

The Bullet-
The Berger VLDĀ design incorporates a sharp nose that allows the bullet to penetrate 2ā³ to 3ā³ before it starts to expand. After the initial expansion, the bullet will shed between 40% and 85% of its weight as shrapnel into the surrounding tissue (internal organs). The combination between the shrapnel and the hydrostatic shock produces a massive wound cavity within the vital area that will be 13ā³ ā 15ā³ long. This massive wound cavity results in the animal dropping fast since most go into shock after such a tremendous blow. Those animals that donāt go down immediately will soon succumb to blood pressure loss and/or organ failure producing a quick ethical kill.
