6MM Creedmoor 105 Grain Hybrid Target- The 6mm Creedmoor is a necked-down version of the 6.5mm Creedmoor using 6 mm (.243 inch) bullets, lighter than 6.5 mm bullets with similarly-reduced recoil. The 6.5mm Creedmoor (6.5×48 mm) designated 6.5 Creedmoor by SAAMI, 6.5 Creedmoor is a centerfire rifle cartridge developed for Creedmoor Sports and introduced by Hornady in 2007.

The cartridge was designed specifically for long-range target shooting, although it has success in game hunting. Bullet-for-bullet, the 6.5mm Creedmoor achieves a slower muzzle velocity than longer cartridges such as the 6.5-284 Norma or magnum cartridges such as the 6.5mm Remington Magnum. However, due to its overall length of 2.825 inches (71.8 mm), it is capable of chambering in short-action rifles.

.264 Winchester Magnum 140 Grain Berger VLD-Hunting- The .264 Winchester Magnum is a belted, bottlenecked rifle cartridge. It was introduced in the late 1950s and early 1960s with the .338 Winchester Magnum and the .458 Winchester Magnum as one of a family of short-cased 2.5 in (64 mm) belted magnum cartridges developed by Winchester based on the .375 Holland & Holland parent case. The .264 Winchester Magnum gained a reputation as a very flat shooting cartridge. When introduced, it was first chambered in the Winchester Model 70 Westerner rifle, which was intended for longer range shooting.

The .264 Win. Mag. is an excellent, potentially accurate, very flat-shooting cartridge capable of taking any game in the lower 48 US states, and one of the most powerful of all .264 in (6.7 mm) cartridges.

Over a century after Scandinavia discovered the merits of 6.5mm projectiles, the United States has finally caught on. And just perhaps, the 6.5mm Precision Rifle Cartridge (6.5 PRC) is the finest all-around one. The 6.5 PRC is a short–action magnum cartridge that pairs the exceptional aerodynamics of 0.264-inch-diameter projectiles with an efficient not-quite-overbored powder chamber. The parent case is the .375 Ruger—also basically a .300 RCM necked down to 6.5 mm. In other words, it’s a factory-produced, SAAMI-approved ballistic twin to the 6.5 SAUM and similar wildcats. Formally adopted by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI) at its June 2018 meeting, we are thrilled to introduce our hand-loads for this caliber now! 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum 140 Grain Nosler AccuBond- The 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum is a 6.5mm cartridge created by Weatherby in 2016 as its own rendition to the ever-growing 6.5mm long range rifle market. Named the 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum, the new hot-rod round is simply the .300 Weatherby Magnum necked down to 6.5mm (0.264 inch). As the newest in Weatherby’s lineup this cartridge is designed to be in direct competition to the 26 Nosler and Claimed by Weatherby to be the fastest 6.5mm cartridge available. 6.5 Creedmoor 130 Grain Berger VLD-Hunting~ The 6.5mm Creedmoor, designated 6.5 Creedmoor by SAAMI, is a centerfire rifle cartridge introduced in 2007 as a modification of the .30 TC, which was based on the .308 Winchester. It was designed specifically for long-range target shooting, although it is also achieving success in game hunting. Bullet for bullet, the 6.5mm Creedmoor achieves a slower muzzle velocity than longer cartridges such as the 6.5-284 Norma or magnum cartridges such as the 6.5mm Remington Magnum. 6.5mm-284 Norma 130 Grain Berger VLD-Hunting- When Winchester released the .284 Winchester in 1963, primarily for hunting, many competitive target shooters saw great potential in both the primary design and as a parent design for wildcatting. The .284 case was short but wide and in comparison to the .30-06 length cartridges, enabled shooters to experiment with a different shaped powder column with hopefully excellent, or at the least, interesting internal ballistics. The .284 was able to fire a 162 grain bullet between 2950 and 3050fps from a 30″ target barrel however the choice of target bullets available for 7mm users during the 1960’s was rather poor.

When wildcatters necked the .284 case down to 6.5 during the late 1960’s, the resulting 6.5-284 cartridge was able to fire a high BC 140 grain bullet at similar velocities to the parent .284 but with much lower recoil. With advances in 6.5 caliber bullet design and a growing understanding of suitable reloading techniques, the 6.5-284 steadily gained popularity. The wildcat produced excellent results in 1000 yard competition and eventually gained the attention of a number of hunters.

In 1999, the Norma ammunition company of Sweden adopted the wildcat naming it the 6.5-284 Norma.

6.5 Grendel 123 Grain Lapua Scenar- The 6.5mm Grendel is an improved variation of the 6.5mm PPC. Since its introduction, it has proven to be a versatile design and is now expanding out into other firearms including bolt-action rifles and the Kalashnikov system. The 6.5mm Grendel design goal was to create an effective 200–800 yard AR-15 magazine-length cartridge for the AR-15 that surpassed the performance of the native 5.56mm NATO/.223 Remington cartridge. Constrained by the length of the 5.56×45mm NATO round, the Grendel designers decided to use a shorter, larger diameter case for higher powder volume while allowing space for long, streamlined, high ballistic coefficient (BC) bullets. The cartridge developer, Bill Alexander, has been quoted as saying he was looking for a cartridge with “more legs” (i.e. longer effective range) than the .50 Beowulf so that it could be used for white tail deer hunting. The round’s original marketing for military and police usage created skepticism about its suitability for hunting. Despite this, there has been critical acknowledgement that it is sufficient for deer. Its manufacturer is more enthusiastic, saying that it has “flat trajectories and bullets well-suited to deer and varmints”. It is similar to deer cartridges such as the .30-30 Winchester, .257 Roberts and .243 Winchester but is not in the same class as the .270 Winchester or the .30-06. Now that bolt action rifles are being offered in 6.5 Grendel it is appearing at target matches and metallic silhouette competitions.
